The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (acronym NICMAR) is not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Institute is a non profit management institute and research centre in the field of construction engineering and management.

The Institute has been recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO)

It is headquartered at Walchand Centre, Tardeo, Mumbai, India. Main campus being at Pune, Maharashtra.

NICMAR offers several post graduate level courses in the field of project engineering and construction management and related areas.

It also conducts short, medium and long term programs for executive development, primarily aimed at construction industry

NICMAR has put in place an inservice program executive development program, open to executives working in the construction and related industries, government departments and other interested corporate entities.
