National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT (s) set up in the year 2010 by a demonstration of parliament and has been proclaimed as an Institute of National significance.

From scholastic year 2013-14 the admission in every B. Tech program has been expanded to quality of 60 understudies.
