The National Institute of Technology, Surat (NIT Surat), formally known as Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology or SVNIT, is a designing foundation of advanced education built up by the Parliament of India in 1961. Administration

NIT Surat is administered by its ex officio guest, the decent President of India and the NIT Council who head the NIT authoritative structure.
