National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, has invited applications for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program for this academic session in the following disciplines:

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Chemical Engineering Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
• Mining Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have graduation and post graduation degrees in relevant fields with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, or not less than 60 per cent marks in aggregate.

Procedure to Apply:
Candidates can obtain the application forms online. They have to send completed application form to the Assistant Registrar (Academic) NITK, along with necessary DD for Rs 500 drawn in favor of Director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, payable at Mangalore.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates will be based on academic performance in the qualifying examinations, written aptitude test, presentation on a research topic and interview.
