Will you please share with me the rules and regulations of Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Moot Court Competition, 2016 organised by National Law Institute University Bhopal?

As you want to get the rules and regulations of Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Moot Court Competition, 2016 organised by National Law Institute University Bhopal so here is the information of the same for you:

PARTICIPATION AND ELIGIBILITY:
All law schools, faculties of law and other institutions offering a law-related degree program are eligible to participate in the Competition. Each participating institution shall send only one Team to the Competition. Team members must be bona fide students of the institution they are representing.
A Team can have a minimum of two members and a maximum of three members. Each team must have a minimum of two Speakers. Each team must specify the two team members who would be speaking in a round, prior to the commencement of that particular round. A Speaker would be eligible for the individual speaker prizes only if he/she has presented oral arguments on behalf of the Claimant and the Respondent at least once during the Preliminary Rounds.
Once registered, a Team shall not be permitted to vary the composition of the team in any manner. Changes, if any, may only be made with the express permission of the Administrators (at their discretion), if a substantial reason is shown for the such variation.

The Administrators reserve the right to disbar any team from participating in the Moot.
ASSISTANCE TO TEAMS FROM NON-MEMBERS AND/OR EXTERNAL SOURCES:
Every Team must research and write its Memorial without the assistance of non-members. Teams may receive general advice from Faculty Advisors and/or Coaches. However, such advice must be limited to general advice on the area of law concerned, structure of arguments and general commentary on the Team’s arguments. No advice whatsoever may be taken from any member of another Team or any Coach/Faculty Advisor of another Team.

The Bench Memorandum shall be confidential at all times. Any Team found making use of the Bench Memorandum shall be disqualified. In preparing its Memorials, no Team may incorporate arguments or other information from the Memorials of other Teams.

REGISTRATION:
Each Team must register for the Moot by completing the Registration Form before 15th January 2016. For national teams, the Registration Fee for the Moot is to be paid through a Demand Draft in the name of ‘The Director, National Law Institute University, Bhopal’ payable at Bhopal. Teams are required to email a scanned copy of the Demand Draft and the Registration Form to mca.nliu@gmail.com latest by 15th January 2016. Registration fee for the moot is Rs.1500 per team.

International teams are required to wire transfer the amount to the following Bank Account:

• Bank – Dena Bank
• Branch – TT Nagar

TRANSPORT AND ACCOMODATION:

Accommodation will be provided to all the teams. For any additional members of any team the host university will not be responsible for his/her accommodation. Accommodation will be provided from 8:00 a.m., 26th February, 2016 till 10:00 a.m., 29th February, 2015. Teams arriving before 26th and staying after 29th will have to arrange for their accommodation themselves

AWARDS AND PRIZE MONEY:
Winning Team Award: The winning team will receive a trophy and a prize of Rs. 1,10,000.
• Runners - up Award: The 1st runners up will get a trophy and a prize of Rs. 50,000.
• Best Oralist: The best oralist in the preliminary round will get trophy and prize of Rs. 30,000.
• Best Memorial-Claimant: The team with best Claimant memorial will receive trophy and a prize of Rs. 15,000.
• Best Memorial-Respondent: The team with best Respondent memorial will receive trophy and a prize of Rs. 15,000.
• Best International Team: The Best participating team from outside India will receive a trophy and a prize of Rs. 30,000. The scores of the Preliminary Rounds will be taken into account to decide this prize.
