Exam Pattern and Format of NMAT:

The NMAT is a computer-based test where each candidate gets a randomly generated exam from a pool of questions.

It is an objective type multiple-choice test, so there will be no descriptive type questions. Also no negative markings will be there.

NMAT is a 120 minute test with three sections, details as tabulated below:

This section of the paper is used to test the ability of the candidate to understand and grasp general English. This section includes :

-Synonyms
-Anonyms
-Dictionary meanings of different words,
-Syntax, and correct grammar
-Language usage and their rules


Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation & DS: – Total Questions: 48

This section is used to verify the potential of the candidate to scrutinize a particular data which is a process of inspecting of data.

This section of the papers includes :

-Arithmetic
-Algebra
-Trigonometry
-2D and 3D Geometry, and Statistic.
-Line graph
-Bar graph
-Tables
-Pie chart.


Logical Reasoning: – Total Questions: 40

This segment of the question paper examines the ability of the candidate to determine the fact behind any conclusion based on assured rules. This part includes :

-Coding & Decoding,
-Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments,
-Series,
-Family tree,
-Multi-dimensional arrangements,
-Puzzles
