The central aim of the Diploma in Dramatic Arts course offered by National School of Drama (NSD) is to prepare students for the practice of theatre and for this a variety of practical skills need to be developed and a corpus of knowledge needs to be acquired. Though, all areas of study are review separately and a high standard of work demanded in each, the primary objective of the course is to develop creativity and imaginative expression within the collective framework of a group. Age Limit: Age as on 01st July 2016 minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates only. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Disabled Persons: Out of 26 seats, 04 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes 01+01 seat is reserved for scheduled tribes including N.T. 07 seats are reserved for OBC and physically disabled persons, as per Govt. of India rules. |
