NTPC Assistants Chemist Trainee (ACT) Written Test Pattern

NTPC ACT 2011 Test will be conducted in online mode.

Duration of the Test – 2 hours

No. of questions (objective type multiple choice) – 150 (Chemistry – 120 & General Aptitude – 30)

Each question carries 1 mark.

There is negative marking for wrong answers. ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

No marks will be deducted for UN attempted questions.

The test will be in two parts.

Part-I will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions from Chemistry discipline.

Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. Candidates have to show competency in both the sections separately as both the sections will have minimum cut off marks.


Executive Aptitude Test (50 Questions) Executive Aptitude Test is common to all disciplines and questions shall be based on:
Vocabulary
Reading comprehension
Quantitative aptitude
Reasoning ability
Interpretation of graphs/ charts/ tables
General Awareness
