The A and O levels in computer means the qualifications of DOEACC-A and DOEACC-O schemes. DOEACC is the acronym for Department Of Electronica and Accreditation of Computer Classes. This autonomous scientific society was created to offer technical education, training and human resource development in information and communication technologies under AICTE(All India Council of Technical Education).

The courses under DOEACC schemes are given below-
1. CCC-Certificate course on computer concepts which is equivalent to 6 months certificate course provided by a recognised university.
2. O level - Foundation level course which is equivalent to diploma course provided by the recognised university.
3. A level - Advanced diploma in computer applications which is equivalent to PGDCA(Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application) provided by the recognised university.
