Welcome to Meghalaya Board of School Education

Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) first began in 1973, Head Quarters at Tura, to direct Examination, outline syllabus and assessment and confirmation of SSLC Examination without precedent for 1974. Higher Secondary Section was then called as P.U. (Pre-University) and its examination procedure was dealt with by NEHU-North East Hills University, head office at Shillong. Be that as it may, after 1996, when the University (NEHU) suspended the Pre-University Course, it was assumed control by the Board, from that point forward all the money related issues, relating with SSLC and HSSLC branch were being managed by the Board itself. Because of the expanding number of understudies every year, the work stack is likewise expanded. After 1996, the Board is taking care of all the scholarly issues related with surrounding of syllabus for every one of the classes, including SSLC and HSSLC.
