Oil DCE renewal
My son wants to apply for the Dangerous Cargo Endorsement Certificate renewal? Tell me how I can apply for the Dangerous Cargo Endorsement Certificate renewal? From where I can get the application form for the renewal of the Dangerous Cargo Endorsement Certificate? The checklist of documents for (Management & Operational) along with Application for DCE (Dangerous Cargo Endorsement) as provided by Directorate General of Shipping & Mercantile Marine Department, Mumbai, Government of India are as follows: Application Form in original duly filled up & signed Copy of Seafarer Registration Print Out on E-Governance of MMD, Mumbai (Copy attach with application no.) Copy of Certificate of Competency (For Officers) Copy of Oil / Chemical / Liquid Gas Familarisation Course Copy of Specialised Training Programme Oil / Chemical / Gas Tanker Course Copy of Advanced Fire Fighting Course (For Officers) / Fire Fighting & Fire Prevention (For Rating) Original Old Level 1 / Level 2 DC Endorsement 3 months experience appropriate to duties on the type of tanker within last 5 years (For Renewal / Level 2 DC ) Copy of Liquid Cargo Handling Course (Oil Operational / Management Level) Original letter issued by the owner of the vessel / Agent in original regarding sea service with RPSL Number & E-mail Address. Indos Number Copy of CDC (Relevant sea service pages) Copy of Passport (First & last page) Copy of Medical Fitness Certificate (DGS approved) Latest within 6 months Two recent colour photographs passport size. Copy of Challan of Rs. 1000/- for each endorsement Above all documents to be kept in one green envelope size 10 x 14 inches with name, rank, contact no./e-mail, sr. no. of register entry & type of endorsement.
