Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is an Indian Multinational Oil and Gas Company .

Its Headquarters Located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

It was Founded in 14 August 1956 .

It is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The Oil And Natural Gas Commission Act, 1959

An Act to provide for the establishment of a Commission for the development of petroleum resources and the production and sale of petroleum and petroleum products produced by it and for matters connected therewith.
