The Xavier Institute of Social Service or XISS was established as an extension department of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, in 1955 .

XAT 2016 Cut Offs

The cut off for Xavier Aptitude Test will be decided by XLRI.

Percentile will be used to shortlist candidates for GD and PI for 2015 programmes of the institutes.

Exam pattern :

XAT Exam had two parts, Part I, Part II.

Part I was divided into three sections A, B, C. Sections A consisted of 26 questions, Section B had 23 questions, and Section C involved 29 questions.

Part I with total 78 questions had to be answered in 170 minutes,

Part II including General Knowledge was to be answered in 35 minutes.
