ONGC Ramnad GCS
Hi I would like to have the information about the gas-collecting station at Valantharavai village, 9 km from Ramanathapuram by ONGC? Maharatna ONGC is the biggest maker of unrefined petroleum and regular gas in India, contributing around 70 for every penny of Indian local generation. The raw petroleum is the crude material utilized by downstream organizations like IOC, BPCL, HPCL to create petroleum items like Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene, Naphtha, Cooking Gas-LPG. The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), with its long haul plan to make Ramanathapuram locale a gas-delivering zone, has established the framework for building a gas-gathering station at Valantharavai town, 9 km from Ramanathapuram. As per regional chief, the company arrangements to finish the chips away at the station before the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board's gas-based force plant. It has offered to supply 4.5 lakh cubic meters a day to TNEB's plant for delivering around 100 mw of force. Since 1987, eight wells have been bored in the Perungulam-Periapatnam-Ramanavalasai region and another 10 are on the blacksmith's iron, Saha told the social affair at Valantharai. The limit then would go up to 10 lakh cubic meters a day. Prior the coporation had bored 20 wells onland and seaward yet had not yielded business hydrocarbons. ONGC now has authorized a Telseis overview in the shallow water zones of Palk Bay and Gulf of Mannar. The study has quite recently been finished and results would be accessible in six months.
