Tentative dates Application starts September 2017 Application ends First/ second week of December 2017 Pre-admission orientation programme (for SC/ST/OBC/Minority and PWD candidates) Third week of December 2017 Issue of admit card Last week of December 2017 TISSNET 2018 exam First week of January 2018 Announcement of Result Second week of February 2018 PIT & PI March & April 2018 Final Merit List April 2018 Exam pattern TISSNET is divided into three sections – General Awareness, English Proficiency, and Maths and Logical Reasoning. The total number of questions asked in TISSNET 2018 is 100. As far as the section-wise distribution of questions is concerned, it is as follows – General Awareness – 40 questions English Proficiency – 30 questions Math & Logical Reasoning – 30 questions The candidates are awarded 1 mark for every correct answer. As there is no negative marking, no marks are deducted for incorrect answers. TISSNET is a computer based test conducted in many cities across India. Eligibility a) Candidates having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university are eligible to apply b) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3 year degree progremme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4 year degree progrmmes should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester. c) Only those Candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations are eligible to apply to all the programme.
