The Syntel will conduct 3 parts of examination for recruitment:
Written test paper with Essay Writing
HR
Technical interview

Section I – Verbal – 25 questions – 15 Minutes
Section II – Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions – 45 Minutes
Section III – Logical Reasoning – 30 questions – 30 Minutes
Total 85 questions – 90 Minutes

Refer Barron’s GRE guide
Synonyms
Analogies
Fill up the sentences
Find the Word that has to be replaced
Form a Sentence and find the last word

Section – II – Quantitative Aptitude
Refer Quantitative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwal to prepare.
Train Problems – finding speed of train, how many seconds it will cross each other etc.
Age problems – find mothers age,fathers age etc.
Statistics Problems(probability) – A-this much , B-This Much, A n B-this much and A u B – ?
Angle Problems which deals with triangle – 3 problems

Section III – Logical reasoning
Tower of Hanoi Problem
