Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited BPCL released the notification for the post of “Fire Operator” – Grade “7” Vacancies.

Vacancy: 13 Nos. (Gen – 6, ST – 1, OBC (NCL) – 6).

Qualification:

First Class Diploma in Engineering (Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Civil / Fire) or First Class B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry)

Certificate / Diploma in Fire & Safety Course from a Government recognised institute would be an added advantage.
(Relaxable upto 50% for SC/ST Candidates)

Candidates should possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving license / Light Motor Vehicle with Heavy Motor Vehicle Learning Driving Licence.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in fire fighting / fire services in petrochemical, industrial fire services/ fire brigades.

Knowledge of operation, inspection and maintenance of all first aid, fixed and automatic fire protection systems including the fire fighting appliances, rescue tools, breathing sets.

Age Limit:

Maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2014.

Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and
3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

Pay Scale & Benefits:

Selected candidates will be placed in Grade ‘7’ with starting basic of Rs.13,800/- p.m.
(Scale of Pay: Rs.13,800 – 41,000).
