Re: OPSC Short Application Form

Applications in the recommended Short Form are welcomed from contender for admission to the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2011 for enrollment to the Posts and Administrations going under the Odisha Civil Services (Category-I and Category-II) as said underneath. The Examination will be led as per the arrangements of the Odisha Civil Administrations (Combined Competitive Recruitment Examination) Rules, 1991 as corrected from time to time. The important part of the said Rules are accessible on the Website of the Commission

The Examination Code is 01 which ought to be said by the applicants at the suitable place of section No.03 of the Short Application Form. The hopefuls are not required to specify the Post Code at this phase against the proper place of Column No. 04.

The Post Code as specified against the above Posts/Services are to be shown by the hopefuls in the Long Application Form which to be downloaded from the Website of the Commission or to be gathered from the workplace of the Commission with legitimate affirmation at proper time, who meet all requirements for the Main Examination

Age Limits :


An applicant might be under thirty-two years and more than twenty-one years old on the first

January, 2011 i.e. he/she should not have been conceived sooner than second January, 1979 and not later than 1st January, 1990.

The upper age-point of confinement is relaxable by 5 (five) years for competitors having a place with the classes of Scheduled Castes(S.C.), Scheduled Tribes(S.T.), Socially and Educationally In reverse Classes(S.E.B.C.), Women and qualified Ex-Servicemen.

Given that a man who goes under more than one classification said above, might be qualified for just a single advantage of upper age unwinding, which should be viewed as generally helpful to him/her.
