Can you tell me about the Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for UG programme offered by Department of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering of Osmania University?

Undergraduate programme offered by Department of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering of Osmania University is aimed to instil spirit of inquiry, inspire the power of thinking, give both analytical and experimental abilities and teach interest in research.


The programmes offered are focussed on encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship and self-employment apart from making them employable in any industry segment.


Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for UG programme


PEO1
To provide students with a concrete foundation in Mathematics, Sciences and Electrical Engineering which prepares one for further studies and hence research in Electrical Engineering and for a wide range of career opportunities in Industries and academics.


PEO2
To train the students with good engineering breadth so as to comprehend, analyse, innovate and design new products in electrical domain, to provide technical solutions to real life problems and to render technical services to the needs of the society.


PEO3
To instil professional and ethical attitude, creative, effective communication and presentation skills and improved ability to work in teams to pursue complex, open-ended investigations and research in electrical engineering for effective knowledge transfer.


PEO4
To provide students with an academic setting aware of excellence, pro activeness, leadership positions in multidisciplinary teams, business talent and lifelong learning for successful professional career.
