Passing criteria for CPT exam
Will you please tell me the passing criteria for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam?? Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam is of total 200 marks. There are objective types of the questions and for every wrong answer; there is provision for negative marking. To pass the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam you need to score minimum 50% marks. This doesn't means that you will have to score 50% marks in each sections, instead you will have to score 50% marks in aggregate. Marks distribution in the CPT examination: Fundamental of Accounting: 60 Marks Mercantile Law: 40 Marks General Economics: 50 Marks Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks This is the ICAI Common Proficiency Test Syllabus: 1.
