I will tell you Armed Forces Medical College, exam pattern and details of MBBS entrance exam so that you can remember easily.

Exam pattern
AFMC MBBS selection test will have 40 multiple choice questions each carrying 2 marks. These 40 questions have to be answered in 30 minutes

For each incorrect response 0.5 will be deducted

The AFMC MBBS 2016 merit list will be based on AIPMT/NEET 2016 marks + ToELR score and interview marks

AFMC MBBS 2016 will be calculatedon the basis of score obtained in AIPMT/NEET 2016 added to the ToELR score divided by 4 to get a score out of 200.

The total will be max of AIPMT 2016 marks + ToELR i.e. (720 + 80)/4

Eligibility
A candidate should be a citizen of India or be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Must be unmarried. Marrying during the course is not permitted.

Should be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence

Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date(Not more than 24 years in case of candidates who have passed or are appearing in final B Sc examinations).

Reservation:
10 seats out of 130 are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC/ST

In addition to the above 130 seats, Govt of India at its discretion through Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Defence may sponsor and select foreign students from friendly foreign countries for MBBS training in AFMC, under their aid/collaboration programmes
