Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

Age should Not exceed 35 years , 40 years for SCs STs

Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Govt. Servant/EPFO employees up to five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.


Essential Qualification (s)
A Degree of recognized University or equivalent

Desirable Qualification (s)
Diploma in Company Law/ Labour Laws/ Public Administration

Duty(ies)

Duties of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner inter alia are to look after the work of

-Enforcement,

-Recovery,

-Accounts,

-Administration,

-Cash,

-Legal,

-Pension and Computer which includes the statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry settlement of claims general administration maintenance of Cash Book/Reconciliation of Bank Statements MIS returns etc.


Pay Scale
PB-3 Rs.15,600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs.5400/- Total emoluments excluding TA HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.43470/-.
