I would like to know a brief about the placement job fair conducted by Bharat University as well as the activities undertaken by the placement department?

Bharath University conducted a mega job fair for students of the 2009, 2010 and 2011 batches on April 16 & 17, 2011 at Bharath University, Chennai.

The job fair was aimed at providing opportunities for aspiring youngsters to grab top notch jobs.

Around fifteen companies from various sectors like IT, ITeS & Insurance Sectors had recruited the graduates from Engineering, Arts & Science, MBA and MCA. Besides top Core companies in the field of Electronics, Civil and Mechanical were present for recruiting Engineering graduates.

Companies like Brakes India, Operational Energy groups, Reinhold Wuerth India Pvt. Ltd., Flowlines Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Tech Revo India Pvt. Ltd., Harita Tech Serve, E4E, CSS Slash Support, Sutherland, E care India Pvt. Ltd., were present to conduct recruitment drive for the students of various disciplines of Engineering, Arts & Science (B.Com., B.Sc., BBA, BCS, MBA, MCA etc.,) disciplines.

The students had to walk-in to seek better paying jobs with some of the most renowned companies participating at the fair on April 17, 2011 in Bharath University.

Apart from the fair held Bharat University also has a placement cell which assists the aspiring graduates to achieve the desired jobs.

Placement Cell undertakes the following activities to achieve the desired results and set targets.
Placement of aspirants in industries through campus recruitments, pooled campus and off campus recruitments.
Implant training for aspirants in industries during summer and winter vacation.
Project works for the final year students in industries.
Uninterrupted institute-industry interaction.
Pre-joining knowledge Initiatives.
Alumni activities
participate in industrial exhibitions, fairs, seminars to promote useful interaction with the industries.
MOUs VS with industries giants like TCS, ACCENTURE, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA, WIPRO etc. For: Curriculum Development (CDP)/Faculty Development Programme(FDP)/Student Development Programmes(SDP) etc.
