Sardar Patel University invites application from eligible candidates for admission to Doctor of Philosophy ( PhD ) program

SPU PhD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold recognized Master’s degree or a degree recognized equivalent to Master’s degree, with at least 55% in aggregate or equivalent marks / grades, to be eligible.

Candidates appeared for the final year Post Graduate’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

SC / ST will be get 5% relaxation.

Candidates who have qualified in UGC – CSIR ( JRF )/ NET / SLET / GATE / JEST, , or have secured such any Other national level fellowship for research or hold teacher fellowship or M.Phil. degree of this University.

Those who does not clear above examinations are also invited for admission to PhD program likely they have to appear in entrance test.

Fees for Entrance test category (P.G. Student) is Rs. 650/- and Non

Entrance test category (M.Phil/NET/SLET/GATE/JEST is Rs. 300/-
