If you want to take admission for Phd. for Law from Calcutta university then you must take LLM degree or any master degree which is recognized by UGC with 55% marks and you should also qualified for SLET/SET/JRF. If you have M. Phil degree then you can also apply. Entrance Test is of 80 marks and with 3 hours duration. Syllabus for the test is: 1. Law and Social Transformation in India 2. Indian constitutional Law: The new challenges 3. Judicial process and Legal Education. 4. Research Methodology Interview shall be for 20 marks. Application form you can get by sending demand draft of Rs.1000 in favour of Registrar WBNUJS 12 LB Block,sector-13,Salt lack city , Kolkata payable at Kolkata.
