| Phd At Solapur University
I have done my PG degree and want to do Phd from Solapur University. Can you please tell me lists of all Phd research faculties available in this University and also tell me what the process of taking admission for Phd degree please provide me admission form? The programme for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is offered in the Faculties of Humanities, Commerce and Management, Science and Technology & Interdisciplinary by Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Ph.D. Programme: One must have a Master degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to Master Degree by the Solapur University or by Statutory regulatory body, with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, is allowed for one belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/VJNT/OBC) and/or differently-abled candidates as per policies of the Government prescribed from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Masters degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade) and the relaxation of 5% is permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures. One who has cleared the M.Phil. course work (Theory Examination) of Solapur University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale and completing M.Phil. Degree is eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph.D. Degree in Solapur University in an integrated programme, provided one joins such programme without any break. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, is allowed for one belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time. One whos M.Phil. Dissertation has been evaluated and the Viva Voce is pending shall be eligible for admission. One possesses M.Phil. Degree of Solapur University or any other Statutory University or Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. degree of an Indian institution or from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, is eligible.
