Physical Standards For NDA
I want to apply for National Defense Academy exam to join Navy so tell me the height, chest, eyesight and the weigh required to apply for this exam? Also provide me the other physical requirements for the National Defense Academy exam?

The Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA and NA (I) Exam. The eligible candidates are evaluated as per physical standards, set by NDA (National Defense Academy) and NA norms. These physical and mental standards are necessary. Failure to clear these standards will result in instant disqualification of the candidate. Medical Examination Process One will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and one declared unfit is intimated by the President of the Medical Board. One is also intimated about the procedure for Appeal Medical Board and also about the provision of Review Medical Board. One must be physically and mentally fit according to the prescribed standards. The detailed guidelines are given below. Minor Ailments One also needs to rectify minor defects/ailments in order to speed up finalization of medical examination conducted at the Military Hospital The following are considered common minor ailments: Wax (Ears) Deviated Nasal Septum Hydrocele/Phimosis Overweight/Underweight Under sized Chest Piles Gynaecomastia Tonsillitis Varicocele Physical Standards for NDA |
