Can you tell me about the Physical Standards decided by NDA (National Defense Academy) for its NDA and NA (I) Exam which is conducted every year?

The Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA and NA (I) Exam. The eligible candidates are evaluated as per physical standards, set by NDA (National Defense Academy) and NA norms.

These physical and mental standards are necessary. Failure to clear these standards will result in instant disqualification of the candidate.

Medical Examination Process

One will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and one declared unfit is intimated by the President of the Medical Board.

One is also intimated about the procedure for Appeal Medical Board and also about the provision of Review Medical Board.

One must be physically and mentally fit according to the prescribed standards.
