Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is a private university offering liberal arts and professional school programs located in Parkland, a suburb of Tacoma, Washington, United States. It was established by Norwegian Lutheran pioneers in 1890.

Master of Business Administration

The Pacific Lutheran University MBA Program is founded on the cornerstones of leadership, creative innovation, global awareness and ethical responsibility.

Admission requirements:

Bachelor’s degree must be awarded by the beginning of the program.

For international students, a minimum score on the TOEFL-iBT of 88 or minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required.

TOEFL or IELTS may be waived for students who graduate from a regionally-accredited U.S. college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

An interview with the MBA program director may be requested.

Applications are evaluated individually, based on multiple factors

Program start: The MBA program admits new students for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.

Program length: As quickly as 9 months.

MBA Curriculum: Students take 9 core classes each worth four credits (36 credits). Those who wish to earn an emphasis will complete two additional four credit classes (44 credits.)

Class times: Classes are scheduled in the late afternoon and evenings.
