Re: Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam West Bengal

The Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics JEXPO is a state level polytechnic entrance test conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education for admissions in the first year of diploma courses offered by various polytechnic colleges in West Bengal state.

JEXPO Eligibility Criteria

Students must have passed 10th or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics from any recognized board.

Candidates should have obtained minimum 35% aggregate in the qualifying exam (without additional subjects).

Appearing candidates can also apply.

No upper age limit, but candidate’s date of birth should not be after 1st July 2002

Candidates must be citizen of India.

JEXPO 2017 Important Dates

Application form release 30th January 2017
Last date to submit the application 16th March 2017
Last date of submission of filled OMR Application 6th March 2017
Admit card release date 7th April 2017 (Revised)
Exam date 30th April 2017
Result declaration date 19th May 2017
Counselling starts Third week of June 2017

Application Fee

The application fee for OMR Application was Rs. 500/- for general and Rs. 250/- for Kanyashree Enrollees.

Online application fee was Rs. 450 (Rs. 225 for Kanyashree Enrollees).
