Secondary Education Department, Assam Government has released a notification for conducting Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Exam for the recruitment of 1618 Graduate Teacher (Hindi & Sanskrit) vacancies in Secondary Schools.

Eligibility Criteria-

Sanskrit Teacher:

Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized University
or
B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized University

Hindi Teacher:

Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university
or
B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T/ B. Ed. degree from any recognized University

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should not be above 38 years

5 years Age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on test and interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/-.
