Eligibility Conditions

Eligibility for Admission to the Post-Graduate Degree Courses:

i) Minimum eligibility criteria is a pass in the qualifying exam with 45% (40% for SC/ ST/Cat-I candidates) of marks in respective subjects/papers in aggregate or aggregate of all the subjects/ papers (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and other conditions.

ii) Admission to various courses, except for those subjects requiring Entrance test, is based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects/aggregate marks in the qualifying exam, whichever is applicable.

iii) For those subjects where Entrance test is conducted admission is made on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying exam (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test.
