Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a legislature claimed independent science and innovation college in Cochin, Kerala, India. Established in 1971, it has three grounds: two in Cochin and one in Kuttanad, Alappuzha, 66 km inland.

The university grants degrees in building and science subjects at the undergrad, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Almost 6520 understudies connect with yearly in undergrad and postgraduate studies at the university.

CUSAT has discovered a place among the best colleges on the planet, in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-17 with a rank in the 800+ category. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) University rankings CUSAT was set in the main 30 for the year 2016. The college is set at fifth rank in India in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities with a world positioning of 1150.
