The school students in two categories-Category A for 4th, 5th and 6th Standard and Category B for 7th, 8th and 9th Standard participated in the competition. Navin Tandon, General Manager, South Eastern Central Railways was the chief guest on the occasion.

Tandon in his address stressed on the importance of painting in modern era. AK Sinha, Executive Director, POWERGRID in Chhattisgarh spoke about the importance of inculcating habit of painting in youngsters .


Winners of the Competition

he Winners of the competition are as follows: Category A - Deepak Barik of O P Jindal School, Raigarh stood in first , Heau Mishra of Delhi Public School, Risali, Bhilai second and Yamni Sahu of Govt. Middle School Beretara village in Dhamtari stood third.

In category B, Shirin Khan of Dreamland High Sec School, Sarkanda, Bilaspur secured first position. The winners of state-level painting competition
