PPMET Prospectus
Hello sir I am Rishi and I am here as I want to get the Prospectus of the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET) so will you please provide me the same for me?? Hey!!! Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot conducts Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET) fro admission to B.Sc Nursing course. As you want to get the Prospectus of this Test but the Prospectous is present nowhere so here I am providing you about this Test Eligibility Criteria Academic Qualifications: Aspiring candidates should posses Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry. Biology) and English from a recognized Board / University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for the General/OBC Category (40% in case of SC/ST category). Those who are appearing for the Intermediate or equivalent examination but the results are not declared shall be permitted to appear in the Written Entrance Test. Age Limits Candidate ensures that he/she has completed the age of 17 years Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian National. Reservation a) For Govt./University College: The reservation in the State quota seats in Govt. Institutions in various categories for admission to the under Graduate Para Medical Courses will be as under: (i) SC - 25%; (ii) BC (Note: The backward class certificate must be as per the latest instructions of the Govt. of Punjab): 05%; (iii) Backward Area/Border Area (1% each): 02%; (iv) PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped (disability 50% to 70% ) to be determined at the time of counseling by a duly constituted board of the specialty of Orthopaedics): 03%; (v) Sports Persons (Credit will be given for the sports achievements made during 10+1/10+2 classes only): 01% (vi) Wards of terrorist/riot affected persons (in order of preference to the exclusion of next category): 01% b) Private Colleges: The institutions who are allowed to admit only girls will obey the Govt orders; the reservation in private institutes (in Govt/Mgmt quota seats) will be as under: (i) SC - 25%; (ii) BC (Note: The backward class certificate must be as per the latest instructions of the Govt. of Punjab): 05%; (iii) Backward Area/Border Area (1% each): 02%; (iv) PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped (disability 50% to 70% ) to be determined at the time of counseling by a duly constituted board of the specialty of Orthopaedics): 03%; (v) Sports Persons (Credit will be given for the sports achievements made during 10+1/10+2 classes only): 01% (vi) Wards of terrorist/riot affected persons (in order of preference to the exclusion of next category): 01% Foreign Indian Students NRI Seats: 15% seats in all private Institutes and specified number of seats in Govt./University Institutes shall be earmarked for the Foreign Indian Students (NRI); the Foreign Indian Student (NRI) quota in private institutes will be part of the Mgmt. Paper Pattern The Test shall have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of test will be three hours. There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions (50 each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology). Each question will carry four marks, thus total marks will be 800. There will be no negative marking. The questions will be in English. The candidate will be required to find out the correct answer and mark it on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet by darkening the corresponding oval against the serial number of the question with BLACK FINE TIP BALL PEN ONLY provided by the university at the time of test.
