Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) is an all India admission test

It is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development.

The JAM IIT paper pattern depends on the subjects one chooses to appear for; it is either descriptive or objective.

Preparation Tips
Go through exam pattern and syllabus

Try and solve as many past year question papers as you can

Solve mock test papers

Try referring to IIT JAM books by various authors.

Make short notes to help in last minute revision.

Give more time in revising topics which have more weightage in comparison to others.

Do not start a new topic at the last minute! Instead revise the topics you have already completed.

Most importantly keep your calm and don't panic.
