Preparation For UGC NET
I am going to write the UGC NET exam for the first time. I am doing coaching for it also. Can you please give me some tips for the UGC NET exam Preparation so I can crack this exam? Your Preparation tips will help me my self studies? Thanks for the help.

Some good preparation tips for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) are as follows: The key to success in the Exam is proper management of the resources. One should choose good books under proper guidance. As the syllabus is really huge, one need to be thorough with the syllabus and a systematic approach should be adopted in order to cover each and every topic. One must learn about the latest pattern of the NET question paper. There are three papers; two of 100 marks each and one of 150 marks. Paper I tests the teaching aptitude for which one can practice from the last year question papers. Paper II and Paper III test the subject knowledge for which the prescribed syllabus needs to be covered and revised well. One must appear for as many mock tests as possible as it will give a good idea of the exam pattern and let one know where exactly one stand. Preparing well in time Getting acquainted with the syllabus Prioritising the subjects Making personal notes Refer to past questions Time management Concentrate on speed as well as quality Be confident UGC NET January Exam Pattern Exam Scheme for UGC NET 2017 The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 22nd January 2017 (Sunday) in all three separate session as under: First (Paper-I): 100 Marks (60 out of which 50 questions to be attempted) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am, IST)] Second (Paper-II): 100 Marks (50 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm, IST)] Third (Paper-III): 150 Marks (75 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 2½ Hours (02.00 pm to 04.30 pm, IST)] All the questions of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options) One will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet |
