About the Assam TET Exam :

Assam Teacher’s Eligibility Test is the common entrance test which is conducted by the Assam Government for the recruiting the deserved and dedicated aspirants as the Lower Primary Level and Upper Primary Level teachers in the government schools of the state of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

lower level primary teachers should be passed senior secondary exam with minimum 45% and two year diploma in elementary education OR have passes the BA/BSC with minimum 50% marks from any recognized college/university.

The applicant who are applying for Upper level Primary Teachers should be completed their graduation or should be appear in the final year of the 2 year diploma in the elementary education

OR
B.ED from any recognized university OR have completed their graduation in the BA/BSC with minimum 50 % marks from any recognized college / university.

Age Limit
Form the minimum age of the aspirant should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 35 years.
