State Bank of India Probationary Officer Exam will be conducted by Central Recruitment Board for the recruitment of aspiring candidates as PO in SBI. Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualification: General candidates and others should have First division in Graduation in any discipline with 65% or more marks SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates should have First Division in Graduation In any discipline with 60 % or more marks or Degrees which are considered equivalent to graduation E.g. CA, ICWA, CS, as also qualifications in management like MBA / PGDBM, subject to fulfillment of criteria as regards division and marks as stipulated above. Age Limit: Age should not below 21 years and not above 30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is as per rules for specified categories including SC/ST/OBC etc. Nationality A candidate must be either a citizen of India or one holding eligibility certificates issued by the Government of India. Syllabus SBI PO Exam will consists of questions as given below: 1. English Language: This section will consists question from: -Reading Comprehension (10+10) -Jumbled Sentences (5) -Close Passages (10) -Errors Correction (15) 2. SBI PO Syllabus of Reasoning Section: The reasoning section is of high level and have problems on -Input – output (machine coding and decoding) (5) -Sentence coding (5) -Logical Reasoning (15) -Syllogism (5) -Puzzle / Seating Arrangement (10) -Data Sufficiency (5) -Directions etc. (5) 3. General Awareness + Marketing Awareness + Computer -Current Affairs (15) -Banking Awareness (15) -Computer Awareness (10) -Marketing (10) 4. Data Analysis and Interpretation. -Line graphs (5) -Bar chart (15) -Pie chart (10) -Tables (15) -Probability (5) Syllabus for Descriptive Test -Descriptive paper is divided in 5 parts consisting of questions from -Letter (10)-Questions on saving account, net banking, education loan etc. -Paragraph (8)-Rural Banking, Impact of autonomy -Precise Writing (10)-Chief Vigilance Officer -Reading Comprehension (10)- ATM and its uses -Essay Writing (12)-Technology, Right to education act, Financial Inclusion Important Dates: Last Date of Online Registration: May, 2016 Date of Fee Payment: May, 2016 Date of Exam -Preliminary Exam Jun, 2016 -Mains Exam Jul, 2016 |
