As you want to get the details of procedure to applying for a passport in India so here is the information of the same for you:

1) You need to get application forms available in any E-seva centre.

2) Then you need to get photographs done according to the specifications given in the form.

3) Then arrange all the documents mentioned in the form.

4) Take one or two zerox copies of all the documents.

5) Fill the application form very carefully with out any mistakes. I would advice u to take 1 /2 zerox copies of application form and try filling it roughly first & then u can fill final form correctly.

6) You need to write your name as it is as mentioned in the Xth class memo or birth certificate.
