RAW was the part of Investigation Bureau till 1968 but presently it is engaged only in Research and Analysis.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age should be between 19 to 25 years.

2. Applicants should have graduation from Recognized University.

3. Marital Status required is single.

4. Candidate must be Indian.

SELECTION PROCEDURE-

1. Written

2. Interview

3. Medical

For joining RAW, first of all candidate must have to qualify civil service exams (all stages) only the candidate's who top the IAS exam are offered to appear for exam for RAW, then the qualified candidates will be select as an agent of RAW for the service of 2 to 5 years which is extendable for upto 9 years maximum depending upon candidates capabilities.
