The Indian Police Service (IPS) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility Criteria for IPS:

Age Criteria:

Applicant age should be between 21 years to 30 years. 5 years age relaxations given to SC/ST categories students and 3 years age relaxations given to OBC categories students

Nationality:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee, or
A person of Indian origin

Education:

Applicant need to pass a gradation degree form recognized university. Applicants who are in final year or who are waiting for the results may also eligible to apply.

How to apply:
The Applicant needs to send an online application to apply for the IPS. The online application form avails at the official website of the UPSC.
