What is the procedure to join Indian Police Service(IPS) after completion of 12th Standard???

Sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for Indian Police Service (IPS) on the basis of 12th, because graduation is the minimum eligibility required to appear for IPS exam

Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility Criteria for IPS Exam:

You must possess a graduate degree in any discipline of any of the Universities in India or other educational institutions
- Minimum age limit required is 21 years
- Maximum age limit required is listed below --
30 years maximum for General
33 for OBCs
35 for SCs/STs

1. Current events of national and international importance
2. History of India and Indian national movement
3. Indian and World Geography – physical, social, economic geography of India and the world
4. Indian Polity and governance – Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc.
5. Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc.
6. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change – that do not require subject specialization
7. General Science
General Studies Paper II

Maximum marks : 200
Number of Questions : 80
Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours)

3. Logical reasoning and analytical ability
