Punjab School Education Department is going to recruit big staff as 5078 vacancies of teachers and masters cadre in all over Punjab State. The vacancies are in the discipline math, science, Punjab, social studies, DPE, Agriculture, Sanskrit, Home Science and English. All these vacancies will be on contract basis for three years. After three years, the department will decide to regulate the candidates by checking the behavior, work excellence.

Qualification, Age Limitation and Experience
The qualification, age limitation and experiences for the posts of teachers jobs in PSEB is given below. Only TET qualified candidates are eligible. It is one of the most essential conditions for these recruitment.

For the Teachers of Math/Punjabi/Social studies/Sanskrit: Candidates should have passed bachelor degree with one of relevant elective subject and B.Ed.

For the Teachers of Science/Agriculture: Candidates should have passed B.Sc with one of relevant subject Physics/botany/agriculture and chemistry and B.Ed.

For the post of D.P.I: Candidates should have passed diploma in D.P.Ed/B.P.E diploma with one year B.P.Ed.

For the post of Art & Craft: Candidates should have passed Matriculation examination with two years diploma in Arts & Crafts.

Mode of Selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. Numbers will be counted for merit like as 25 marks of educations careers, 25 marks of professional qualification, 10 marks of post graduate, 10 marks of M.Fil & PH.d , 30 marks of TET.
