The Smeal MBA Student Exchange provides a variety of resources to help current and incoming students make the most of their two years in the program. 1. Academic Resources Its goal = is to provide a location to obtain the details need and to rely less heavily on e-mail distribution of documentations, attachments, etc. Its aim is to reduce the number of general e-mails used merely as vessels for document distribution. 2. Career Services This section of the MBA Exchange is geared to give the student up-to-date information, news and events coming out of the Career Coaching and Corporate Relations office. It provides tools for guiding through career development process. 3. Student Organizations MBA Association Finance Association Lion Partners Marketing Association MBA Consulting Association MBA Women International (WMBA) Minority MBA Association Penn State Entrepreneurs Network Penn State Net Impact Smeal MBA Military and Veterans' Association Supply Chain Management Association Smeal Toastmasters Network Association Administrative Tools 4. Immersion Programs Career Immersion - Fall, First Year MBA Students Negotiations Immersion - Fall, Second Year MBA Students Global Immersion - Spring, First-Year MBA Students Leadership Immersion 5. Admitted Students 2017 Incoming Student Checklist Complete the Penn State Smeal MBA Enrollment Form. Find a place to live. (As soon as enroll) Submit FAFSA (US Students Only). (As soon as enroll) Apply for I-20 (International Students Only). (As soon as enroll) Complete Enrollment Information Survey and send in photo. (May) Complete the Activity Guide in LionPath. (May) Purchase laptop (June) Purchase Football Tickets (June) Begin Accounting Pre-Work (June) Estimate expenses and learn about billing (July) Review and understand health insurance requirements. (July) Purchase your textbooks. (July - August) Prepare for Orientation. (Orientation is MANDATORY) Arrive early to unpack and settle in (Recommended no later than 2 days before the start of Orientation.) Register vehicle.
