| PTU Thyroid Function
Please tell me about the PTU Thyroid Function…. Propylthiouracil is a thiouracil-derived drug used to treat hyperthyroidism by decreasing the amount of thyroid hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in the year 1947.
