BE Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed XII from Punjab State Board or an equivalent recognized board

Candidates are required to have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any of Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology as optional subjects.

Applicants should have appeared in JEE Main and scored the qualifying marks.

Candidates with Engineering diploma from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET) or from any equivalent State Board of Technical Education will also be considered eligible.

A candidate with a two year certificate course from SLIET will also be considered eligible.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of candidates for Punjab Engineering Admission will be done on the basis of JEE Main Scores and the qualifying exam (Class 12th) in the ratio 60:40.

85% seats are reserved for students belonging to Punjab, while for outside Punjab state, admissions will be offered on the rest 15% of seats.
