PTU has been authorized by the Dept of Technical Education & Industrial Training to conduct the admissions to the various undergraduate engineering courses in the state of Punjab

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

Applicants have passed an Engineering diploma from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or SLIET are also eligible.

Applicants must have appeared in JEE Main 2015 and scored the qualifying marks

Applicants must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with optional subjects being Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology.

Applicants who have passed a two year certificate course from SLIET are also eligible.

Selection Procedure:
on the basis of JEE Main 2015 and the qualifying exam (Class XII) in the ratio 60:40.

15% of seats are for students from outside Punjab

85% of the seats are reserved for students from Punjab

Tentative dates:
Payment of Counselling Fee round 1: Third week of May, 2015

Counselling Round 1: Second week of July, 2015

Payment of Counselling Fee round 2: Second week of July, 2015

Counselling Round 2: Till thid week of July, 2015
