The Indian Management Studies Journal (IMSJ) started in 1989 is the biannual refereed publication of the School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala.

The main aim of this journal is to disseminate Knowledge and information in the various functional areas of management, economics, trade and commerce.

The journal focuses on theoretical, empirical, applied and interdisciplinary research in different areas. It is intended to provide a forum for debate and deliberation for academic, policy-makers in the government and practitioners from business and industry.

The IMSJ publishes articles, research papers, abstracts of doctoral dissertations, book reviews, case studies, short communications and bibliography in one of the major areas of management or any of its allied areas.
