Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) exam is a entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

This exam is conducted for selection of the candidates to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur.

SCRA Eligibility
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee

Age Limits
17 years -21 years.

Educational Qualifications:

Passed Intermediate or an equivalent Examination with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
