Qualification For CTET
I am interested in the field of teaching and for this decided to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Will you please tell what the Recommended Educational Qualification to apply for this exam also tell what the pattern of this exam so that I can prepare well for this?

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education for aspirants having desire to join Central Government Schools such as NVS/ KVS/ Tibetan School etc as a Teacher. Recommended Educational Qualification for Classes I-V Following categories of candidates are eligible: Who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with obtaining minimum 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). Or, Who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with securing minimum 45% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration), according to the NCTE Regulations 2002. Or, Who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with acquiring minimum 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration).Or, Who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with acquiring minimum 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Education (2 years duration). Or, Who have Bachelor’s degree and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). CTET Exam Pattern 2017: Number of Papers: Two (Paper I & Paper II) Paper I is conducted for aspirants having desire to become teacher for class I to V. Paper II is organized for aspirants having desire to become teacher for class VI to VIII. Aspirants interested for both are required to appear for both papers.
